Glen John Pierandri
1948-2026
Glen John Pierandri, 77, of Brookfield, born and raised in Ridgefield, died on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Danbury Hospital surrounded by his family.
Glen was born at Danbury Hospital on July 24, 1948, the first (and only) son of Torquinio "T.J./Turk" and Helen (Dyke) Pierandri.
He attended Ridgefield schools and graduated from Ridgefield High School with the Class of 1966. In high school, Glen played basketball, ran cross-country and was known for his tremendous rhythm for dancing.
A resident of Brookfield for the past five years, Glen enjoyed spending time with his family; lounging in the pool, helping with flower and vegetable gardens, tending to the chickens, golfing, watching a good movie, fishing in Rhode Island, a good firepit, burger, and a beer, and telling stories about his world travels when he was a younger working man.
He is survived by his daughters, Nicole Flynn and her husband Sean, Courtney Pierandri and her husband David and Micah Pierandri, five sisters, Joyce Pierandri, Vicki Morgan and her husband Herb, Helen Cehanowicz (and her late husband Walter), Lynn Morgan and her husband Richard, Barbara Rickert and her husband Paul. He felt his family was completed by his 4 grandchildren, Abigail DuPreez (Warren), Sam Flynn (Kelly), Mia and Andrew and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins and friends.
Along with being predeceased by his father, T.J. and his mother, Helen, Glen was predeceased by the love of his life, Marcella Sonier Pierandri. We know they are together again laughing and making up for lost time. We will miss his laugher, his “hey kiddo” and “there she is!” greetings and the simple kind and true gentleman he was and will aways be remembered as.
Friends will be received in the Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah St., Ridgefield on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
