Raymond A. Antous, 87, of Danbury, husband of Najlah (Massery) Antous, died on Friday, April 26, 2024, at Danbury Hospital.
Mr. Antous was born in Danbury on November 11, 1936, a son of the late Antous and Florence (Shaker) Antous. He attended local schools and graduated from Danbury High School with the Class of 1954.
A life long Danbury resident, he was a U.S. Marine veteran and a retired District Sales Manager for McKesson Wine and Spirits of West Haven, CT.
An avid golfer, Mr. Antous was a member of the Richter Park Mens Golf League and was a past member of the board. He was a member of the Lebanon American Club and St. Ann Melkite Church, both of Danbury.
In addition to his wife Najlah of sixty-one years, he is survived by a daughter Lisa Antous and her husband Bob Binette, a grandson Egan Sarojak and fiancee Ashley Mosimann, a great grandson Jason Raymond Sarojak and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Antous was predeceased by two brothers, Richard J. Antous and Ronald T. Antous and by two sisters, Marion Shaker and Evelyn Chory.
The Rite of Burial will take place on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Ann Melkite Church, 181 Clapboard Ridge Rd., Danbury.
Interment will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
The family will receive friends at St. Ann Church on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
