She also had a great passion for cooking traditional Polish food and passing along the customs of her native country to her grandchildren. Cecylia was a devout Catholic and she faithfully attended Mass with her family at St. Mary’s in Ridgefield or at Our Lady of Fatima in Wilton.

Cecylia was predeceased by her husband, Waclaw, two brothers, Jan and Wincenty, and two sisters, Boguslawa and Marta. Cecylia is survived by her daughter, Ewa Skrzypecka-May (John) of Wilton and her two grandchildren Christopher and Katherine May, her sister Teresa Dymowska and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews in both Poland and England.
