Joan G. Grant

Joan (Gilbert) Grant, 84, of Ridgefield, wife of the late Frank R. Grant, died on Friday, May 6, 2016 at her residence following a short illness.

Mrs. Grant was born in Bridgeport, CT, December 10, 1931, daughter of William and Mary (MacPherson) Gilbert. At an early age, Joan along with her parents moved from Bridgeport to Westchester County, NY, where she attended local schools and graduated from Port Chester High School in the Class of 1949.

In 1956, Mrs. Grant moved to Stamford and was employed with Pitney Bowes. She was united in marriage with her husband of forty seven years in September of 1957.
