Edward T. Turner, Sr.

Edward T. Turner, Sr., 70, of Danbury, died peacefully at Danbury Hospital on February 2, 2015. Edward is survived by his loving wife and best friend Pearl (Hamm) Turner. He was born July 25, 1944 in Yonkers, NY, son of the late Thomas and Rose (DiCarlo) Turner.

Mr Turner was a Senior Chemist for Prestone/Fram Corporation in Danbury for forty nine years until his death. During his career, he invented and patented several automotive care formulas. Ed and Pearl enjoyed car trips through the New England States viewing the fall scenery.

Also surviving are two sons, Edward Jr. and his wife Marleen of Danbury and Christopher of Bronxville, NY; three beloved granddaughters, Krysten Snyder of Elmsford, NY and Katelynn and Alyssa Turner of Danbury, CT and a nephew, Patrick Boland of Florida.

In addition to his parents, Ed was predeceased by his sister, Diane Boland.

A Prayer Service will be conducted in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9-11 Granville Ave., Danbury on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 6:30 P.M. with Father Paul Merry of St. John Paul II Center for Health Care, Danbury officiating.

The family will receive friends at Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home on Friday after 4 P.M.
