Norma E. Rigby
Norma E. Rigby, wife of Ronald “Bud” Rigby, of Ridgefield, CT, peacefully passed on October 20, 2015.  She was blessed to be surrounded by her loving family and dear friends, both in presence and spirit, during the final weeks of her life.

Norma was born in Jeannette, PA in 1931, and then lived in Dorseyville, PA, before moving with her husband and children to Ridgefield in 1968.  

Norma was a longtime volunteer at the Ridgefield Thrift Store, as well as a member of the Ridgefield Ladies Golf League.  

She also cherished spending time with her friends at book and bridge clubs.  Norma was a devoted member of First Congregational Church and a participant in the Elizabeth Circle.

Norma is survived by her husband, Bud; her daughter, Cindy Rigby of Somerset, NJ; her son and his wife, Randy and Diane Rigby of Avon, CT; and granddaughters, Casey and Chelsea Rigby.  

She is also survived by her sister, Marge Govoni, of Springfield, VA.  Norma was predeceased by her brother, John Mull of Saginaw, MI, and her sister, Joanne Hileman of Corry, PA.

A Memorial Service will be held at First Congregational Church, located at 103 Main Street in Ridgefield, on Saturday, October 31, at 10 am, officiated by Reverend Dr. Charles Hambrick-Stowe.

Friends will be received on Friday, October 30, from 4 pm to 7 pm at Kane Funeral Home, located at 25 Catoonah Street in Ridgefield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the First Congregational Church, 103 Main Street, Ridgefield, CT 06877, or the Ridgefield VNA, 90 East Ridge, Ridgefield, CT 06877.
