Jennie “Jane” Curran

Jennie “Jane” (nee Trivanovich) Curran, 80, of Katonah, NY, wife of the late Mike Radakovich and the late Willis J. Curran, died on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY.

Mrs. Curran was born in Johnstown, PA, December 6, 1933, daughter of Ranko and Jennie (Buncich) Trivanovich. She attended local schools.

Mrs. Curran, a retail salesperson in early years was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking and baking.

A resident of Katonah, NY for the past four years coming from Cleveland, she was a member of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church of Danbury and St. Innocent Orthodox Church of Olmstead Falls, Ohio.

Mrs. Curran is survived by a son, Mike Radakovich and his wife, Linda; three daughters, Violet Dobrasevic and her husband Ratko, Carol Rendes and her husband Mike and Virginia “Gina” Vokoun and her husband Mike; two sisters, Mildred Arangelovich and her husband Dan and Carol Schigel; a son in law, Harry Fong; brother and sisters in law, Jack Zimmerman, Camille and Leathian Trivanovich; twenty three grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Curran was predeceased by a daughter Stephanie Fong and by her siblings, Violet Borota, Angeline Mikusevich, Julia “Honey” Zimmerman, Robert, Nadalin and Peter Trivanovich. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 16, 2014 after 6PM at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 74 Joe’s Hill Rd., Danbury. A Panachida service will take place at 7:30 PM.

The Liturgy of the Resurrection will take place at St. Innocent Orthodox Church, 8526 Usher Road, Olmstead Falls, Ohio at a date and time to be announced.

The family will receive friends at St. Innocent Church at a time to be announced.

Interment will follow in St. Theodosius Cemetery, Old Brooklyn, OH.
