Jean M. Bilodeau

Jean M. Bilodeau; 75, of Danbury; husband of Mrs. Ginette (Buteau) Bilodeau, passed away on December 11, 2014.

Mr. Bilodeau was born in Lambton, Quebec, Canada on January 17, 1939; son of Ovide and Rose-Aimee (Roy) Bilodeau.

A resident of Danbury for the past 50 years, Mr. Bilodeau was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church of Danbury. He was a skilled Carpenter and was a member of CT Local Union 210.

He will be remembered for his hard work and time spent assisting his three daughters and their families. He was always there to lend a helping hand, share his skills and provide advice.

In addition to his wife Ginette of 48 years, Mr. Bilodeau is survived by his three daughters; Lisa Bilodeau of Danbury, Sandy Anderson and her husband, Randy of New Milford and Kathy Leclair and her husband, John of New Milford.

Mr. Bilodeau is also survived by three brothers: Gerald, Harold and Gaetan; two sisters: Dolores and Claire; five grandchildren: Kaitlin, Samantha, Alyssa, Morgan and Justin as well as other family members residing in Canada.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph’s Church, Danbury.

Interment will be private; there will be no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Masonicare Hospice and Home Care of Newtown.
