William Edmund Werner, III

William Edmund Werner, III, 57, of Danbury, husband of Brenda "Brandee" Carl-Werner, passed away at his home on Thursday, September 19, 2013.

Mr. Werner, known to his friends as Bill, was born in Port Chester, NY, October 29, 1955, son of William E. Jr and Ellen (Kyprianou) Werner of Cocoa, FL and was raised in Rye, NY. He attended Ithaca College and received a Bachelor's degree in Music.

A computer tech with Richemont Corporation of Shelton, CT, Bill was an accomplished musician and composer. His musical influences were Bach, Beethoven and Ian Anderson from the band Jethro Tull. He played guitar, trumpet, mandolin, flute, lute and piano.

An area resident since 1997, he was a former member of the Danbury Brass Band and played in the following bands: TaleSpin; Relic; Minstrel & Co. and Again.

In addition to his wife of thirteen years and parents, Bill is survived by two sons, Ian Thomas and William Edmund Werner, IV and a daughter, Marnie Ellen Werner.

Visitation and a Celebration of Life Service will take place on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 12 noon in The Real Life Church, 103 Park Avenue, Danbury with the Rev. Kevin Lynch officiating.

Burial will follow in Wooster Cemetery, Danbury.
