Thomas A. Olszewski

Thomas A. Olszewski, 61, of Danbury, beloved husband of Linda (Bohnik) Olszewski, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Thursday, September 12, 2013.

Tom was born in Yonkers, NY, on August 17, 1952, son of Eleanor (Manzi) Olszewski and the late Anthony Olszewski.

Tom earned his Engineering degree from the University of Bridgeport, and also earned degrees in Mathematics and Education from Western CT State University.

A Danbury resident since 1974, Tom was an engineer with Duracell Corporation of Bethel. He was a devoted NY Rangers and NY Giants fan. He especially cherished the time shared with his family, and was eagerly awaiting the arrival of his first granddaughter in December.

In addition to his devoted wife of forty years, Tom is survived by his son, Luke T. Olszewski of Charlotte, NC; his daughter, Victoria L. Bollenback and her husband Justin of Safety Harbor, FL.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 11AM at St. Gregory the Great Church, 85 Great Plain Rd., Danbury. There will be no calling hours.

The family would like to extend sincere appreciation to Dr. Robert B. Cooper and his staff, and Masonicare Home Health and Hospice of Newtown, CT.
