Elizabeth H. Fregia

Elizabeth FregiaElizabeth Hoffman Fregia, 51, of New Fairfield, wife of Roger D. Fregia, died on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at her home.

Mrs. Fregia was born in Stamford, CT, January 3, 1962, a daughter of Kenneth E. Cantrell of Wilton, Maine and the late Judith E. (Panella) Lamb.

She resided in Stamford to the age of twelve and relocated to Florida and later to Texas and Pennsylvania.

A graduate of Lamar University of Beaumont, Texas, Mrs. Fregia received her LPN degree in 1984 and her RN degree in 2011.

A resident of New Fairfield for the past nine months coming from Smyrna, TN, she was a member of Faith Church of New Milford, CT.

She enjoyed painting with oils and watercolors, sewing, cooking and fishing.

In addition to her husband of thirty-two years and her father and his wife, Rose, Mrs. Fregia is survived by her step-father, Quentin Lamb of New Fairfield; a daughter, Amanda Dobbins and her husband Timothy of Nolensville, TN; two sisters, Debra J. Prett and her husband, Anthony of East Haven, CT and Karen M. Garcia of New Fairfield; two brothers, Kenneth E. Cantrell III and sister in law, Deborah of Stamford, CT and David E. Cantrell and sister in law, Leslie of New Fairfield, CT; two step-brothers, Raymond and Herbert; three step-sisters, Marion, Cathy, Donna, Tracy and Micki; two grandchildren, Anna Dobbins and Timera Dobbins.

In addition to her mother, Elizabeth is predeceased by step-brothers, Jimmy and Eugene.

The family will receive friends in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9-11 Granville Ave., Danbury on Friday, August 30, 2013 from 3 PM to 9 PM.
