Sarah D’Aiuto

Sarah D’Aiuto, 85, of Danbury, wife of the late George J. D’Aiuto died on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Hancock Hall, Danbury.

Mrs. D’Aiuto was born in Brooklyn, NY, May 30, 1927, a daughter of the late Joseph and Antonina (Mistretta) Tagliarini.  She attended NY schools and was a homemaker.

A resident of Danbury since 1965 coming from Queens, NY, Mrs. D’Aiuto was a member of St. Peter Parish, Danbury.

She is survived by a son, George J. D’Aiuto and his wife, Janice of Sandy Hook, CT; a daughter, Noreen T. Vondle and her husband, Dallas of Danbury; a sister, Marie Colitti of Queens, NY; two grandchildren, David Vondle and Morgan Vondle and his wife. Kristine; two great-grandchildren, Ava and Laila; a sister in law, Louise Tagliarini; a brother in law, Anthony D’Aiuto and several nieces and nephews,

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. D’Aiuto was predeceased by two brothers, Fred Tagliarini and Joseph Tagliarini and by a sister, Lucille DiVito.

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, April 24th, 2013 at 10:30 AM in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9-11 Granville Ave., Danbury.

Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum of St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.

The family will receive friends in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, Danbury on Wednesday from 9 AM to 10:30 AM.
