Alice Sager

Alice Sager, 85 of Danbury died unexpectedly on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Danbury Hospital shortly after her admission.

Miss Sager was born in Danbury, July 21, 1928, a daughter of Abraham and Anna (Dadous) Sager.  She attended Danbury schools and graduated from Danbury High School.

In early years, Alice was employed by the Barden Corporation and in later years at Davis & Geck where she was an administrative aide retiring after thirty years.

She was a member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church of Danbury and of its Ladies Society.

Miss Sager is survived by a brother, George Sager of Danbury; two sisters, Sara Sager of Danbury and Helen Folwarski and her husband, John of New Jersey; a niece, Erica, nephew, David and his wife, Sonya and a grand niece, Kareena.

The Rite of Burial will take place on Monday, May 14, 2012 at 11 AM in St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 125 Kohanza St., Danbury with the V. Rev. Fr. George Alberts, Pastor officiating.

Burial will follow in Wooster Cemetery, Danbury.

The family will receive friends at St. George Church on Monday from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM.

Contributions in Alice’s memory may be made to St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church Building Fund.
