In addition to John’s ongoing commitment to his faith, he was also a member of St. Mark Greek Orthodox Church of Boca Raton, Florida and a member of the Boca Raton Chapter of AHEPA.

Upon his retirement, John spent his years traveling and exploring the world with the love of his life, his bride of 55 years, Mary.

John enjoyed spending time together at their home in Delray Beach, Florida and cherished his many friends there.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Koukos is survived by two sons, George J. Koukos and his wife, Judy of Bethel and Peter J. Koukos of Danbury; three grandchildren whom he cherished with profound unconditional love, John G. Koukos, Kristen Mary Koukos and Alexis Koukos.; a sister, Stella Johns; a sister in law, Evelyn Panasis as well as several nieces, a nephew and many Godchildren.
