Clement E. Jaquith

Clement E. Jaquith, 95, of Danbury, formerly of New Fairfield, died on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at the Danbury Hospital.

He was the husband of the late Beatrice (Mosher) Jaquith.

Mr. Jaquith was born in Danbury, May 19, 1916, son of the late Augustus J. and Ellen (McCarthy) Jaquith.

He attended St. Peter School and graduated from Danbury High School. 

Mr. Jaquith was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and a retired plumber and steamfitter for the former Holman Plumbing of Danbury.

He was a member of Union Local # 777 CT Pipe Trades of Waterbury and St. Edward the Confessor Parish of New Fairfield.

Mr. Jaquith enjoyed golf and card playing.

He is survived by a daughter, Joyce Smith and her husband, Philip of Danbury; a son, Arthur Jaquith and his wife, Linda of Brookfield; four grandchildren, Kimberly Smith McGrath, Cynthia Smith, Timothy Jaquith and Tiffany Jaquith; five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 3, 2012 at 11 AM in St. Edward the Confessor Church, New Fairfield.

Burial will follow in Mountainview Cemetery, New Fairfield.

There will be no calling hours.
