William G. Hanley

William G. Hanley, an American author, playwright and screenwriter died on Friday, May 25, 2012 at his Ridgefield, CT home at the age of 80. Among his works, he has written the plays Slow Dance on the Killing Ground, Whisper in my good ear, and Mrs. Dally has a Lover, and the teleplays Who'll Save Our Children?, The Long Way Home, and The Attic: The Hiding of Anne Frank. He received an Edgar Award for his teleplay for the miniseries Nutcracker: Money, Madness & Murder (1987). Funeral Services will be private. Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah St., Ridgefield is in charge of arrangements.
