Ann P. Aiello


Ann P. Aiello, 91, of Danbury, wife of Neil C. Aiello died on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at CT Hospice, Branford, CT.

Mrs. Aiello was born in Fall River, MA, September  18, 1921, a daughter of the late Edward J. and Aniela (Rajman) Silvia.  She attended schools in Fall River and came to Danbury in 1935.

She was a retired electronics technician with Consolidated Controls of Danbury and in years past was employed by Davis and Geck and Acusticon.

Mrs. Aiello was a member of AARP-Chapter 1067 Catholic War Veterans of Danbury, NARFE-Chapter 2069 (National Association of Active Retired Federal Employees) and a member of St. Gregory the Great Parish of Danbury.

 An ardent animal lover, she was committed to their welfare  and was most especially dedicated to her family .

She will be sorely missed.

In addition to her husband of sixty-three years, she is survived by a daughter, Nadine Aiello McMillan and her husband, Daniel of Brookfield; two sons, Neil C. Aiello, II and his wife, Susan of Sandy Hook, CT and Gene E. Aiello and his wife, Jennifer of Big Spring, Texas; a sister, Rose Warner of Mountain Home, Arkansas; a sister in law, Analiese Silvia if Mountain Home, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Gregory, Katherine, Christine and Kimberly ; a great grandson, Jayson and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Aiello was predeceased by two brothers, Frank Raymond and Edward Silvia.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, December 31, 2012 at 10 AM in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9-11 Granville Ave., Danbury with Deacon William D. Murphy of St. Gregory the Great Parish officiating.

Interment will take place in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.

The family will receive friends in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home on Monday after 9 AM.
