Helen M. Reinhold

Helen M. Reinhold, age 81 of Danbury, wife of the late Stewart Reinhold, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Glen Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Danbury on March 21, 2011.

Mrs. Reinhold was born in Danbury, February 28, 1930, the youngest child of Frank and Grace (Bates) Betts.

She graduated from Bethel High School in 1947 and retired from Amphenol in 1992.

Helen loved spending time with her family and going to New Mexico to be with her son and his family.  She enjoyed going to the casinos here and in New Mexico and enjoyed many neighborhood picnics.  She valued the friendships she made with her neighbors.

Mrs. Reinhold is survived by her daughter, Marian Robertine and her husband, Peter with whom she made her home; a son, Stewart Reinhold and his wife, Karen of Rio Rancho, NM; her grandchildren, Kevin (wife, Laura), Lauren, Peter (wife, Jamie) and Sarah (husband, Andy); her beloved great grandchildren, Lily Rose Reinhold and Avery Robertine.  She is also survived by a brother, Frank Betts of Ellsworth, ME; a sister, Lottie Schlemmer of Danbury and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 10:30 AM in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9-11 Granville Ave., Danbury with the Rev. John D. Heeckt of the Ridgebury Congregational Church, officiating.

Burial will follow in Wooster Cemetery, Danbury.

The family will receive friends in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9-11 Granville Ave., Danbury on Friday from 5 PM to 8 PM.
