Aldo J. Pin

Aldo J. Pin, 86 of Bethel, husband of Dolores (Carraturo) Pin died at the Danbury Hospital on Thursday, August 4, 2011.

Mr. Pin was born in Pittsburgh, PA, March 12, 1925, son of Napoleon and Mary (Fiorot) Pin and was raised and educated in Pen Argyl, PA.  He graduated from Lehigh University with a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering.

He was a Purchasing Agent with Union Carbide Corporation where he was employed from 1954 to 1986.

Mr. Pin was a U.S. Navy veteran having served from 1944 to 1946 and was an area resident since 1980 coming from West Virginia.

A member of St. Elizabeth Seton Parish of Ridgefield, he was also a member of the Primetimers.

In addition to his wife, Dolores of twenty-nine years, he is survived by four sons, Marcellus Pin and his wife, Gina of Ridgefield, Gregory Pin and his wife, Carrie of Danbury, Christopher Pin and his wife, Eileen of Georgia and Peter Pin and his wife, Janet of Virginia; two daughters, Stephanie Pin of Bethel and Marianne Pin of Danbury; two sisters, Lois Choate of LeClaire, Iowa and Sonya Pin of Pen Argyl, PA; thirteen grandchildren, a great granddaughter and soon to be another great grandchild.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Pin was predeceased by his first wife, Rose (Cuttita) Pin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 8, 2011 at 10:30 am in St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 520 Ridgebury Rd., Ridgefield with Father Joseph A. Prince officiating.

Burial will take place in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury at the direction of the family.

The family will receive friends in the Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah St., Ridgefield on Sunday, August 7, 2011 from 5 pm to 8 pm.
