Janet Haddad Piersall

Janet (Haddad) Piersall, 81 of Brewster, NY, formerly of Danbury, wife of Clinton Piersall, died on Saturday morning , August 20, 2011at Glen Hill Care and Rehabilitation Center, Danbury.

Mrs. Piersall was born in Danbury, January 16, 1930, daughter of George and Mary (Khalli) Haddad.  She was raided in Danbury and graduated from Danbury High School – Class of 1947 and later attended college.

She was a former manager with the W.T. Grant Store, Danbury and later worked at the former Brewster Donut Shop and a volunteer at the former St. Andrew’s Thrift Shop.

A resident of Brewster for the past fifty-six years coming from Danbury, Mrs. Piersall enjoyed cooking, reading and volunteering.

In addition to her husband Clinton, Mrs. Piersall is survived by two sons, David Piersall and his wife, Valerie of East Fishkill, NY and Steven Piersall of Brewster, NY; two grandsons, David and Tim and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Piersall was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Haddad and sister, Rose McDonough.

Graveside funeral services and burial will take place on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 in section 23 of Wooster Cemetery, Danbury at 2:30 pm.

There will be no calling hours.
