Eileen C. Lucchini

Eileen C. Lucchini, 66, of Ridgefield, wife of Ronald G. Lucchini died at her residence on Sunday evening, February 27, 2011 surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Lucchini was born in Clifton, NJ, August 20, 1944, daughter of the late Carmine and Helen (Marino) Larocca.  She attended Clifton schools and graduated from Norwalk Community College with an Associates Business degree.

A secretary, bookkeeper and interior decorator, Mrs. Lucchini was associated with RKW Land Surveyors, the former Studio of New Canaan and her husband’s contracting company.

A resident of Ridgefield since 1981, she was a former Pound Ridge, NY, New Canaan and Stamford resident.

She enjoyed gardening and was a member of St. Mary Church, Ridgefield.

In addition to her husband of thirty-four years, Mrs. Lucchini is survived by a brother, Charles Larocca of San Diego, CA; a sister, Anne Salerno and her husband, Joseph of Wildwood Crest, , NJ; two nieces, Jacqueline Johnson and her husband, James and Kimberly Porterfield and her husband, Adam; two great nephews, Tyler Johnson and Griffin Porterfield; a great niece, Carli Johnson; her sisters in law, Christine Iannino and her husband, Aldo and their children, Alessandra, Assunta and her husband, Andrew, Antonella and Anthony; Thelma VanTilburg and nephew, Bryan and his wife, Marcy and their children, Sara and Hannah, Constance Johnson and nephews, Aleck and Andrew and a  brother in law, Andrew Lucchini and his wife, Alva.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:15 AM in St. Mary Church, Ridgefield. Burial will follow in Pound Ridge Cemetery, Pound Ridge, NY.

The family will receive friends in the Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah St., Ridgefield on Thursday from 4 PM to 8 PM.
