Rosemary C. Juisto

Rosemary (Chiarella) Juisto, 77, of Danbury, wife of the late Nicholas Juisto, died surrounded by her loving family at Bethel Healthcare on Saturday afternoon, March 19, 2011.

Mrs. Juisto was born in Danbury, August 24, 1933, daughter of Frank and Lucy (Capalongo) Chiarella, attended Danbury schools and retired from Consolidate Controls/Eaton Corporation.

She enjoyed bowling, ceramics and time spent with her grandchildren.  One of her most favorite times was attending her granddaughter Katrina’s dance recitals.

Mrs. Juisto was a member of St. Joseph Parish of Danbury.

She is survived by two sons, Mark Juisto of Frisco, Colorado and Gino Juisto of Danbury; two daughters, Dawn Marie Lanigan and her husband, Jay of Sparta, NJ and Annette J. Schweitzer and her husband, Bill Jr. of Danbury; four sisters, Frances Lawlor, Grace Pacific and Joann Lawlor all of Bethel and Beatrice Rasmussen and her husband, David of Florida; two sisters in law, Jean Fusek and her husband, Edward of Danbury and Helen Mount of Tyler, TX; a brother in law, Peter A. Juisto, Jr. of Warminister, PA, five grandchildren, Matthew and Cara Lanigan, Nicholas J. Juisto and William III and Katrina Schweitzer as well as nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Juisto was predeceased by a son, Nicholas B. Juisto.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM in St. Joseph Church, Danbury.

Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9-11 Granville Ave., Danbury on Tuesday from 5 PM to 8 PM.
