Anthony T. Dalessio

Anthony T. Dalessio, 58, of Ridgefield, husband of Lisa Kuller, died on Wednesday evening at Stamford Hospital.

He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, December 22, 1952, son of Marilyn (Farinacci) Dalessio of Cleveland and the late Anthony C. Dalessio.  In early years, he attended Cleveland schools and Gilmour Academy of Gates Mills, OH. Majoring in Psychology, he received his Bachelor’s Degree from Denison University of Granville, Ohio, Master’s Degree from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago and PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Bowling Green State University of Bowling Green, Ohio.

As a Professor, he taught in the field of Psychology and then went on to work with the Life Insurance Research Marketing Association (LIMRA) of Farmingville, CT.  He was later employed by NYNEX (now Verizon) prior to being employed with IBM for the past eleven years.

A Ridgefield resident for the past eighteen years coming from West Hartford, he enjoyed family time, animals, gardening and nature and music.  He was also a creative artist working with water colors, stained glass and drawing and loved kids and enjoyed teaching Sunday school.

He was an active member of the Quaker Meeting House of Wilton.

In addition to his wife of twenty-one years and mother, Anthony is survived by three daughters, Emily Dalessio, Hannah Dalessio and Mikaela Dalessio all of Ridgefield; a sister, Karen D. Bach of Akron, OH; two nephews, Alex and Daniel Verhave and two nieces, Dale Shuger and Caroline Bach.

The family will receive friends in the Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah St., Ridgefield on Saturday (today) from 4PM to 6PM.
