Adele H. Palmer


Adele H. Palmer, 85, of Ridgefield, wife of Theodore “Ted” Palmer, died on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at the Danbury Hospital.

Mrs. Palmer was born in Trenton, NJ, December 23, 1924, daughter of Thomas and Emily (Wettengal) Wigley.  She attended Trenton schools.

A private secretary in early years, Mrs. Palmer was a bookkeeper at Ridgefield Auto Upholstery and a resident of Ridgefield for the past fifty years.

In addition to her husband, Ted, of fifty-nine years, she is survived by two sons, David T. Palmer and his wife, Carla of Ridgefield and Teddy Palmer of Ridgefield and his fiancée Angela Pandiscia; two grandchildren, Anna Palmer and Kyle Palmer and two step-grandchildren, Hattie Wilson and Rachel Inzitari.

Graveside funeral services and burial will take place on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 11:30am in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ridgefield with the Rev. Mark Delcuze, Rector of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Ridgefield, officiating.

The family will receive friends in the Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah St., Ridgefield on Friday from 5PM to 8PM.
