Warren C. Johnson

Warren C. Johnson, 83, of Ridgefield, husband of the late Patricia( Faist) Johnson, died on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Hancock Hall, Danbury.

Mr. Johnson was born in Paxton, IL, January 31, 1927 to Noble C. and Omie (O’Neil) Johnson.   He was raised and educated in Paxton and graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran.

He was associated with Standard Oil of California, General Electric and later Electric Regulator of Norwalk before he established his own business as a manufacturer’s representative.

A resident of Ridgefield for the past forty-nine years coming from Schnectady, NY,
He was a member of the Ridgefield Mens Club, Candlewood Camera Club, Founders Hall, the ROMEOS (Retired Old Men Eating Out) and St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church.

Mr. Johnson is survived by a son, Blake Johnson of Moses Lake, Washington; a daughter, Gail Quinn and her husband, Brian of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands; a brother, Robert A. Johnson of Rockford, IL and four grandchildren, Trevor Johnson, Taylor Johnson, Tyler Quinn and Tracy Vazquez.

Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday at 11am in St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, Ridgefield with Pastor Carla J. Meier, officiating.

Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ridgefield.

Friends will be received in the Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah St., Ridgefield on Tuesday (today) from 5PM to 8PM.
